Certification for Contractor's Equipments

- Contractor’s Vehicles/Engines and approved electrical / mechanical equipment’s & lifting tools / tackles, welding generator that are to be used at construction site are to be certified by competent authority.

Statutory checks wherever applicable shall be carried out and records are to be maintained by contractors to ensure healthiness of the equipment to be used at construction site. These certificates will be checked by CLIENT/OWNER’s Safety Officers.

- The Contractor shall ensure that all industrial consumables like Oxygen, Acetylene, Argon, Nitrogen, welding electrodes etc. shall be approved by CLIENT/OWNER. Testing records shall be maintained by the contractor as per Gas Cylinder Rules before they can be used at the construction site. Use of LPG for gas cutting shall be strictly prohibited.

- The Fire prevention / protection and safety equipment’s (including Personal Protective Equipment’s) should be certified by CLIENT/OWNER’s Safety Officer.
