19.0 SUPERVISORY OPERATING MANUAL:
Will refer to process description and shall contain
a) Process chemistry and kinetics.
b) Operating variables.
c) Equipment operating procedures.
d) Description of instrumentation, interlocks and permissive.
e) Supervisory procedures for start-ups, short term shutdowns, planned & long-term shutdowns, emergencies.
f) Catalyst handling and regeneration procedures.
g) Special procedures as applicable to hydrogen-service heaters, reactors etc.
h) Safety data.
i) Recommended laboratory testing procedures, licensor's own procedures if different from ASTM and IP methods, frequency of analysis.
The supervisory manual shall be adequate for detailed engineering contractor or OWNER to develop detailed operating manual subsequently.
20.0 LICENSORS STANDARDS:
Wherever Licensor own engineering standards are to be necessarily followed with respect to equipment design, piping design,
instrumentation design, etc., the same shall be issued to OWNER at no extra cost.
21.0 GENERAL:
Recommended vendors for critical/ special equipment and materials such
as Reactor, special category pumps, catalyst/ chemicals handling
equipment, slurry filter, special valves, refractory materials, coalescers,
analyzers etc.
In case the BDEP contains any reference to any specification or code of
practice, other than those, which are published, copies of such documents
shall be included in the Process package.
